1963 Omega Seamaster Automatic Ref. 166.002
Overall Notes:
- Cosmetic Condition: B- (Gently worn with visible signs of use and scratches).
- The watch is in excellent working condition, with all functions operating flawlessly.
- All parts are genuine Omega, except the dial has been refinished, the caseback has been replaced with a genuine Omega 165.002 Seamaster caseback, and the strap and buckle are replacements.
Operating State:
- The movement has been fully serviced with disassembly, cleaning, lubrication and regulation.
- Keeping time precisely with strong amplitude.
- Date function working correctly.
Condition Notes:
- Case: shows signs of wear consistent with age and use, with light surface scratches and a few small marks on the bezel near 2 o'clock. The lugs retain their original shape and sharp angular profile, with minor dulling on the edges from normal wear.
- Caseback: replaced with a genuine Omega 165.002 caseback featuring the Seamaster hippocampus medallion. It shows superficial scratches and wear from regular use.
- Dial: refinished in black with a crosshair design and outer minute track. The printing is crisp and the applied hour markers and Omega logo are intact.
- Crystal: shows light surface scratches consistent with age. There are no chips or cracks, and the crystal retains good transparency, allowing clear visibility of the dial.
- Strap and Buckle: replaced with a black leather strap and stainless steel pin buckle.
